The Consul General of Malaysia in Dubai, Mr. Riaz Abdul Razak, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Eng. Marwan Ahmed Bin Ghalita, Director General of Dubai Municipality, at the Dubai Municipality Headquarters, Deira, Dubai on 6 April 2026.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, including community engagement, urban development, municipal management and potential areas of cooperation between Malaysia and Dubai Municipality.
The Consul General also highlighted the positive contribution of the Malaysian community and Malaysian companies in Dubai, as well as Malaysia’s continued interest in strengthening cooperation with Dubai’s relevant authorities and stakeholders.
The meeting reaffirmed the warm and constructive relations between Malaysia and Dubai Municipality, and reflected the shared interest of both sides to further enhance engagement in areas of common interest.
