On 2 December 2019, the ASEAN Heads of Mission (HoM) called on Prime Minister Scott Morrison at Parliament House, as part of the ACC’s continued engagement with top decision makers. Also present at the meeting were Senator the Hon. Marise Payne, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Senator the Hon. Simon Birmingham, Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment.
The engagement session provided an avenue for the HoM to discuss matters on ASEAN-Australia relation. They also discussed pertinent issues that ASEAN and Australia can work together in achieving common goals in the region.
