AirAsia X's Inaugural Flight to Melbourne, Australia - 12 November 2008

Malaysia's low cost long haul travel to Australia received another boost when AirAsia X had its inaugural flight from Kuala Lumpur to Melbourne today.  The route of KUL-Melbourne is the third network for AirAsia X to Australia after Gold Coast and Perth.

The good response to AirAsia X due to the high awareness of the AirAsia brand in Australia and that Australians are in the top five users of the AirAsia website.
