Malaysian High Commissioner H.E. Dato’ Salman Ahmad attended the flag hoisting ceremony at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia on 8 August. Besides the ASEAN Heads of Mission in Canberra at the ceremony, others invited were also Heads of Mission from the ASEAN Dialogue Partners, Heads of Mission from the ASEAN plus three and also the Australian Ambassador to ASEAN. The event marked another historic moment in Canberra where all ASEAN HOMs together in solidarity sang the ASEAN anthem while the flag being raised.
