Australia Malaysia Institute (AMI) Luncheon, 11 December 2013.

HE Dato Zainal Abidin Ahmad, High Commissioner of Malaysia hosted a Working Luncheon to the delegates visiting Australia earlier this month under the auspices of the Australia-Malaysia Institute’s (AMI) Cultural Exchange Program. The Malaysian delegates included Dr. Fathul Bin Mat Jahya, a CEO, Scholars Association of Malaysia and Member of UMNO Youth Executive Committee, Mr. Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin, Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaysia and PKR Youth Chief,  Datin Nirvana Jalil Ghani, Press Secretary to Foreign Minister of Malaysia, Ms.  Fadhlina Siddiq, Vice-President of ABIM, Mr.  Onn Hafiz Ghazi, the CEO of KMB Educational Services and Member of UMNO Youth Executive Committee and Mr.  Khairul Amar Razali, the Managing Director, Al-Maghrib Institute. The delegates which was on a working visit to Australia from 9 till 14 December 2013 was also accompanied by Ms. Sonja Weinberg, Executive Officer from Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and  Australia-Malaysia Institute Secretariats and Mr. Ridwaan Jadwat, the Head of Political & Economis Branch, Australian High Commission in Kuala Lumpur.


This visit to Australia has not only enhanced the already strong bilateral ties between both countries but also provided the opportunity for the young leaders to have an open discussion on various issues with officials from Australian authorities in providing the necessary ingredients and impetus for a better relations.
