On 18 July 2015, the High Commission of Malaysia in Canberra hosted the Hari Raya Aidilfitri Open House at the Dewan Merdeka. Around 500 guests including Malaysian Students, Malaysian Diaspora and Diplomatic Corps were present at the event. Malaysian delicacies such as Nasi Minyak, Satay, Mee Bandung and Malaysian Kuih Raya were served to the guests. The foods were prepared by PERWAKILAN in Canberra.
