High Commissioner Dato’ Sudha Devi undertook a working visit to Perth from 30 October – 1 November 2019 to attend and officiate the Malaysia-Australia Business Forum, organised by the Consulate General in Perth in collaboration with the Australia-Malaysia Business Chamber (AMBC) WA. Attended by 110 businessmen and potential investors, the main highlights of the event were business presentations, panel discussion on business and investment opportunities, as well as Break Out sessions that allowed further discussion and business networking in a more focussed manner.
Apart from the business event, High Commissioner Dato’ Sudha also had the opportunity to meet with the Hon. Peter Tinley AM MLA, Minister for Housing; Veterans Issues; Youth; Asian Engagement of Western Australia and the Hon. Bill Johnston MLA, Minister for Mines and Petroleum; Energy; Industrial Relations. She concluded her visit with a get-together session with the committee members of the Malaysian Students’ Organizations in Western Australia.
