On 8 February 2014, the Malaysian High Commission, in collaboration with the Ladies Association (PERWAKILAN) Canberra participated in the National Multicultural Festival. This spectacular event is Canberra’s biggest annual celebration hosted by the Australia Capital Territory (ACT) Government has provided the opportunity for the community to interact.
The High Commission along with PERWAKILAN Canberra extended the greetings of “Selamat Datang” and welcomed visitors to its Information booth and food stall. Canberrans and visitors alike were treated to a variety of Malaysian delicacies ranging from “Satay” to “Teh-tarik” and other foods.
The food stall was quite a hit with customers arriving as early as 10.00 am and continues till 10.00 pm!
