The High Commission was invited to the University of Canberra to provide a briefing for students who will be leaving for Malaysia in early January 2020 for a six-week internship programme at various companies and organisations. The programme is part of a joint collaboration between University of Canberra and Kolej Damansara Utama (KDU) to provide an opportunity for students to take up internship/placement overseas.
Miss Sharifah Fariheen, First Secretary at the High Commission and Ms. Kartini Tajul from Education Malaysia Australia, provided an overview of Malaysian language, culture, customs and etiquette, safety and the do’s and don’t.
