YB Aidel bin Lariwoo, Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Sarawak led 10-member delegation to Canberra and Sydney from 19 to 24 September 2018.
In general, discussions with counterparts at the Parliament of Australia, the ACT Legislative Assembly as well as the NSW Legislative Assembly focussed on the role of the PAC, division of responsibility at Federal and State level as well as on budget management. The delegation also had the opportunity to tour the Parliament and respective Legislative Assembly offices and observe Question Time.
