High Commissioner Dato' Salman Ahmad and officials from JAKIM and the High Commission of Malaysia in Canberra visited Rockdale Beef in Yanco, New South Wales on 8 April 2010. Rockdale Beef delivers premium beef to Asia and the US since 1992.
The integrated feedlot and abattoir situated on 2000 hectares of farming land in Southern NSW is listed as one of the new certified Halal abattoirs in Australia by JAKIM. The abattoir processes up to 650 carcasses per day from a 53,000 strong herd.
