Working Visit by YAB Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia and Delegation to Australia from 7 - 9 May 2017

YAB Dato’ Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia and Delegation undertook a working visit to Canberra and Sydney from 7 to 9 June 2017. The visit was made following an invitation by Minister of Immigration and Border protection of Australia, HE Peter Dutton.

 

In Canberra, YAB DPM and delegation had Meetings and Courtesy Calls on Prime Minister of Australia, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Immigration and Border Protection, and Minister of Justice. He also had the opportunity to meet Malaysian students and community in Canberra, as well as the Home Based Staff of the High Commission of Malaysia in Canberra in a Luncheon hosted by the High Commissioner of Malaysia at Rumah Malaysia in honour of YAB DPM and delegation.

 

In Sydney, YAP DPM had a courtesy call on the Governor of New South Wales as well as Luncheon and Dinner with the Home Based Staff of the Consulate of Malaysia in Sydney and Malaysian students at Malaysia Hall.
