YAB Dato’ Sri Najib Tun Razak made his first official visit to Australia as Prime Minister from 2nd – 4th March 2011. YAB Dato’ Sri Najib was accompanied by his wife YABhg Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, Foreign Minister Dato’ Sri Anifah Aman, Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek, Chief Secretary of Government Tan Sri Sidek Hassan and senior officials. The visit is at the invitation of Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard in reciprocation of her official visit to Malaysia last year. While in Australia, YAB PM and his delegation visited Canberra and Melbourne. YAB PM will also witness the signing of two Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) between Malaysian and Australia in the fields of education and sports.
