The Consul General of Malaysia, Mr. Edi Irwan Mahmud participated in the 2019 Merdeka Commemoration Service co-organized by the Association of Malaysians in Western Australia and the Malayan Volunteers Group Australia held on 31 August 2019 at the State War Memorial, Flame of Remembrance, Kings Park, Perth. He was also invited to deliver the ‘Merdeka Address’ during the event.
