Birthday Reception of His Majesty The Yang di-Pertuan Agong XIII on Saturday, 6th June 2009
at 12.00 – 2.00pm at The Palms Community Centre,

corner Nicholson & Rokeby Roads, Subiaco

The Agong’s Birthday reception was held at The Palms Community Centre, Subiaco on Saturday 6 June 2009. Puan Hamidah Ashari, Consul General of Malaysia of Wetsern Australia,  gave a short address to the Malaysian community and updated them on the current state of development in the country. She also spoke about One Malaysia concept, whose goal is to preserve and enhance the Unity in Diversity of our peoples, which has always been our strength and remains our best hope for the future

The Consulate also took the opportunity to welcome the teachers and students of Sekolah Menengah Sains Alam Shah, Kuala Lumpur, who are here on a study visit.
