2016 SPRING INTO ARMADALE FASHION SHOW

The Consul-General of Malaysia attended 2016 Sprint Into Armadale Fashion Show on 29 October 2016 at the scenic Araluen Golf Resort, which event was organised by Catherine Birch, a Malaysian who is active in assisting Aboriginals in Australia in nurturing and developing their skills in their own arts which resembles Malaysia’s batik. As a follow-up to the event, a delegation from Western Australia will undertake a study visit to Malaysia from 8 - 18 November 2016 which will take the delegates to Karyaneka, Central Market, National Art Gallery and a special trip to batik production outlets in and around Kuala Terengganu.
