Consul General Ahmad had the privilege to welcome the newly appointed Consul General Siriana Nair of the United States at his office on 3 November 2022. Consul General Siriana assumed the post in Western Australia on 22 August 2022 following previous diplomatic assignments in Brazil, Indonesia, Morocco, the Philippines, India and Washington DC.

Consul General Ahmad extended a warm welcome to Consul General Siriana and wished her all the best on her three-year diplomatic assignment to Western Australia. Both sides also exchanged views on Malaysia-US topics during the said engagement.
