DIVERSITY WA FORUM BY

The United Nations Association of Australia (WA Division) had organised its inaugural Diversity WA Forum on 15 November 2017 where the Consuls-General of Malaysia and India were invited to share their views on Malaysian and Indian diaspora in WA by highlighting the contributions and achievements of the community in the multi-cultural society of WA. It was also an opportunity for the Consulates to explain to the audience on the role played by the Consulates beyond consular work, engagements with various stakeholders, etc. Essentially, it was a very good information sharing session which could contribute towards promoting social cohesion and raising greater awareness on the various non-Australian communities in WA.
