FLIGHT CENTRE TRAVEL EXPO, DARWIN

Tourism Malaysia Perth, led by its Director, Ms. Kamilia Hani Abdul Halim, participated in the Flight Centre Travel Expo Darwin 2016 by taking one booth to promote Malaysia as a top-of-mind holiday destination to the Aussies. The consumer travel fair was held on 6 March 2016 at the Darwin Convention Centre, Darwin, Northern Territory.
The expo garnered much interest from the public whereby 2,415 visitors attended the fair, a 40% increase compared to last year. Many visitors enquired about various destinations in Malaysia such as Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu, Penang and Langkawi. Australian tourists in Darwin can fly directly to Malaysia on Malaysia Airlines. The national carrier flies three times a week to Kuala Lumpur.
