MALAYSIA vs REDBACKS

The Malaysian Women Basketball team was recently in Perth to undergo a week-long intensive training in preparing the team for the upcoming SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur in August 2017. A special meeting with the Consulate was arranged to formally introduce the team to the Consulate at the Department of Sports and Recreation of WA. The supporters from the Consulate had the opportunity to watch one of the friendly games that had been arranged where Malaysia put up a sterling performance to tame down The Redbacks with a score of 81 - 74. A special performance was performed by Cempakasari, a local dance troupe based in Perth, at the half time interval.
