PASAR MALAM 2016

The International Students Committee and Curtin Students Guild had organised an event known as Pasar Malam on 21 October 2016 where close to 40 stalls including four from Malaysia participated in the event. It was an event to celebrate and showcase Curtin University’s cultural diversity which was attended by more than 10,000 guests each year. Malaysian food operators such as Cili Padi Catering and D’Nyonya Restaurant together with two Malaysian students’ organisations, namely, the Association of Malaysian Students (AMS) at Curtin and Malaysian Islamic Students Council in Western Australia (MISWA) offered a variety of Malaysian foods such as satay, apam balik, cendol, teh tarik, Ramly burger, to name a few in order to promote Malaysian foods to the local guests.
