PENCAK SILAT TEAM TRAINING SESSION IN PERTH
14 - 22 OCTOBER 2017
Six athletes from the national pencak silat team undertook a week-long training session in Perth in preparing for the upcoming silat championship in the Netherlands and in recognising their sterling performance in the recent SEA Games 2017 that was held in Kuala Lumpur. The delegation seized the opportunity to call on the Consul-General who in turn hosted a dinner in their honour on 19 October 2017. Various training sessions had been scheduled for the athletes including sparring with local silat gayong team.
