TALK ON CONSTITUTIONAL MONARCHY IN PARLIAMENTARY DEMOCRATIC SYSTEM IN MALAYSIA

The Consul-General of Malaysia was invited by the Australian Islamic College to speak on Constitutional Monarchy in Parliamentary Democratic System in Malaysia to a group of students at its Dianella Campus. Other than highlighting the uniqueness of the system which only exists in Malaysia, the students were also enlightened with the election process, roles and functions, limitations and some of the issues arising from the system. A total of eight questions were posed ranging from the difference between the system in Malaysia and elsewhere, appreciation by the peoples, possible conflicts in its implementation etc.
