WORLD OF FOOD FESTIVAL 2017

The 7th edition of the World of Food Festival which event was organised by the Consular Corps in Western Australia in collaboration with the Governor’s Office had been successfully organised on 19 November 2017 at the beautifully manicured Government House’s garden from 11am to 3pm. It was officiated by Her Excellency Kerry Sanderson AO, Governor of Western Australia.
A total of 30 countries participated in the festival offering various foods from all corners of the globe. Malaysia’s stall was operated by Satay On Charcoal which offered Malaysia’s all-time favourites such as satay, curry puffs, banana fritters and teh tarik. Malaysia, through a local dance troupe - Cempakasari - put up an entertaining 10-minute dance performance showcasing dances from the main ethnics in Malaysia much to the amusement of the audience.
