Ambassador Shazryll Zahiran attended the 8th. ASEAN Committee Meeting in Manama on Tuesday, 27 August 2024. The meeting was chaired by Ambassador Anne Jalando-on Louis, Ambassador of the Republic of Philippines to Bahrain in her capacity as the Chairperson of ACMB. The meeting was also attended by all the other ASEAN Heads of Mission, namely Indonesia, Brunei and Thailand and their respective deputies. The meeting discussed ACMB's plan for the last two quarters of 2024, which includes ACMB's flagship programme, the ASEAN Bazaars, regular consultations and meeting with Bahrain Ministries and authorities as well as the ASEAN and MOFA Bahrain Sports Day.
The commitment of ACMB in delivering tangible outcomes in promoting ASEAN continues in Bahrain as well strengthening further the relations between ASEAN and the Kingdom.
As Malaysia is to assumed its Chairmanship of ASEAN in 2025, the Embassy of Malaysia will pursue tirelesly strive in ensuring its goals is met with the support of all its ACMB members.
