On 12 July 2017, Ambassador. Agus Salim Yusof attended a reception in honour of HRH Prince Michael of Kent who was on a working visit to Bahrain. The reception was at the invitation of the British Ambassador at the showroom of Jaguar/Land Rover. HRH Prince Michael of Kent is Britain's Maritime Reserves Commodore-in-Chief and Royal Navy Honorary Vice Admiral. He is a cousin of Queen Elizabeth II.
