H.E. Shazryll Zahiran hosted an appreciation dinner on Sunday, 8 December 2024 for the Malaysian Team to the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) World Championships Manama 2024. Five Malaysian athletes, Aniq Kasdan, Aznil Bidin, Rahimi Sulaiman, Erry Hidayat and Nur Syazwani Radzi competed in the championships. Appreciation also goes to the coaches, Janius Abdullah, Edmund Yeo, Jannah Batrisyah and Ahmad Zahir Ahmad Zulkafli.
Heartiest congratulations to Aniq who won the Silver Medal for Group A Category 61kg men, raising his ranking to No.2 in the world rank.
The dinner was also attended by the Malaysian Para Badminton team who have just arrived in Bahrain for the Bahrain Para Badminton World Circuit 2024.
