The Embassy of Malaysia participated in the first International Cultural Festival at the Royal University for Women (RUW) in Riffa on 10 February 2019. The event was organised by the RUW in collaboration with the ASEAN Business Council, under the patronage of H.E. Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA). Malaysia participated in the traditional costumes fashion show and live cooking of traditional cuisines. A booth was also set-up displaying tourism attractions in Malaysia and handicrafts.
