The Embassy of Malaysia in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain organized a gotong-royong activity on 24 June 2017, the eve of Aidilfitri at Rumah Malaysia. Around 60 Malaysians volunteered during the event to prepare Hari Raya delicacies and also contributed the main ingredients, such as, beef, chicken, onions, coconut milk, nasi himpit, glutinous rice etc. The event that started at 4.00pm, then stopped for iftar,was then followed by takbir raya. The gotong-royong continued until late into the night.
