YB Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, Minister of Defence and Minister of Special Functions of Malaysia was in Bahrain for a one-day working visit on 20 July 2017 to forge closer relations between Malaysia and Bahrain particularly in the fields of defence and security. While in Bahrain, the Minister met with a number of senior leaders including HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The minister was accompanied by his wife and officers.
