On 27 April 2012, the first ever momentum and historic 2012 Maybank ASEAN Cup Soccer Tournament took place on the field of Al Ahli Stadium in Zinj and the teams of Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand were engaging in friendly matches that jubilantly at the end crowned Thailand as the winner of the tournament. The event's objective was to strengthen the bond among the ASEAN communities here in Bahrain and build such good relations. |
