“We are following the long-breath policy and wisdom in tackling the current situation”, HRH the PM.
The Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, has yesterday made a surprising visit to Al-Muharraq where he was received with applauds and cheers from the people of that region. HRH stressed the importance of national security describing it as a common responsibility that has to be shared by all. HRH said that such a visit aimed at reaching out the citizens and assuring them that the Government is following up seriously with their needs and looking forward in providing them with the best services. He added “some people tried to destabilize the nation and jeopardize the national economy, and we are following the long-breath policy, wisdom and self-control in tackling the situation.”
HM the King: “Bahrain is keen to reinforce the Bahraini-Thai friendly ties.”
His Majesty the King, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has yesterday said that “Bahrain is keen to reinforce more the already strong Bahraini-Thai friendly ties in the various fields.” He said that while discussing the brotherly relations that bonds the two countries in Sukutai Palace with the Thai Crown Prince, Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn, in Thailand. HM the King expressed thanks and appreciation for the warm welcome he and his accompanying delegation received, praising the advanced level of bilateral relations and stressing keen interest to further strengthen them. HM the King asked the Thai Crown Prince to convey his greetings to HM the King of Thailand Bhumibol Adulyadej as well as his best wishes to him of continuous good health and happiness.

Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad stresses Bahrain's keenness on more cooperation with India.
Under the patronage of Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Cultural Festival in the Kingdom of Bahrain was held, yesterday at the Indian Embassy in Manama. Shaikh Naser praised the friendly relations between Bahrain and India and affirmed Bahrain’s keen interest to further boost bilateral cooperation in various fields especially the economic and trade ones. Shaikh Nasser praised the Indian community’s important role in the Kingdom. Indian Ambassador Mohan Komar praised deep-rooted relations and cooperation between the two countries, voicing full support for Bahrain to host Formula One Grand Prix and other major sport events.
Dr. Fakhro meets the President of “Kinoshita Pearl Co.” .
Within the frame of HM’s official visit to Japan, several meetings with various senior officials and important businessmen have made by Bahraini officials. One of them was, the Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Fakhro’s meet with the President of “Kinoshita Pearl” Mr. AKira Kinoshita which was held at the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, Japan. Kinoshita Pearl” is one of the best Japanese companies specialized in natural and cultured pearl. Dr. Fakhro showed Bahrain’s keenness to cooperate in this area, especially that Bahrain is renowned in the world for its natural pearls.
IV. Social, Culture, Tourism:
Minister of Labour: “Only few numbers of the dismissed workers have not returned.”
Minister of Labour Jameel Humaidan said yesterday that only few numbers of the dismissed workers who have not yet returned back to their jobs and that the Ministry is seeking to end their file very soon. And as response to some questions directed to him, regarding suspending some workers in Alba Company, he said that the Ministry is negotiating with the Company to return them back and that serious actions are going to be put soon.
Bahrain to host a Human Development Conference.
Bahrain will host the fifth Regional Conference and Exhibition for Human Development under the patronage of Labour Minister Jameel Humaidan. The three-day event will open on September24 under the theme “Challenges on integrating national workforce in the labour market”. Origin Group will organize the event in cooperation with Labour Ministry, the International Labour Organisation, the Arab Labour Organisation and the International Federation of Development and Training Organisations. Up to 300 specialists from the GCC and other Arab countries will take part, in addition to 20 education, training and human development experts.

Dr. Al-Kaabi receives the prominent Bahraini writer Al Benfalah.
Municipalities and Urban Planning Affairs Minister Dr. Juma’a bin Ahmed Al-Kaabi received writer Hassan bin Ali Al-Benfalah who presented a copy of his book “For You Motherland” which is a book describing and detailing recent political, social and economic developments in Bahrain. Dr. Al-Kaabi hailed the role of Bahraini writers and researchers in enriching cultural life and documenting national defining historical.
