The Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Ladies Association (Perwakilan) Manama, led by Mrs. Norsyazwani Hamdan, wife of Amb. Agus Salim Yusof, hosted a lunch for a group of “Friends of Malaysia” local and foreign ladies on 2 July 2017 at Rumah Malaysia. The 15 ladies who attended included the wives of the Foreign Minister, businessmen and diplomats. The event was also held to welcome the newly arrived Indonesian Ambassador’s wife and to celebrate a birthday. They were feted to Malaysian dishes of lemang, roti jala and Hari Raya cookies. The ladies truly enjoyed the gathering where they also danced away to the poco-poco tune.
