AMBASSADOR OF MALAYSIA TO THE KINGDOM OF BAHRAIN
DURING THE FLAG RAISING OF THE JALUR GEMILANG CEREMONY TO COMMEMORATE MALAYSIA’S 59TH NATIONAL DAY

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Assalamulaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,
1. Let me firstly extend a warm welcome and Selamat Datang to everyone here today at the Embassy of Malaysia in Bahrain as we, Malaysians celebrate our 59th National Day Celebration. Let’s give a thunderous applause to Malaysia “Our Beloved Motherland”
2. Giving speeches are always enjoyable and fun personally to me, but a short and brief one would be great. To this end, I will speak on 5 main points, as follows:
2.1. First, to my prepared speech let me present it to the media for Press Release and so forth. In essence, it highlighted on the true spirits of NATIONALISM, PATRIOTISM and deep sense of identity on Malaysia. This is in tandem with our theme this year “Sehati Sejiwa”, that is one Heart, One Soul.
2.2 Second, to congratulated the Bahrain Malaysia Business and friendship Society (BMBF Society) for its official inauguration on 21 June 2016 and since then it has been on dynamic and vigorous move to make our bilateral and trade ties and cooperation that is truly World-class in statute. Keep the excellent work and congratulations to President and founding Members of BMBF Society.
2.3. Third, to officially launch our first e-Newsletter entitled it “Manama Connects” as a landmark accomplishment of the Embassy of Malaysia in Bahrain. This remarkable effort is to reach out to everyone worldwide and also as an interactive and communicative social media platform for sharing information in Manama, kingdom of Bahrain. To this, let me thank all the staff of the Embassy for such outstanding and excellent work.
2.4. Fourth, to celebrate this auspicious spirits of patriotism “Sehati Sejiwa”, Malaysia wishes to profoundly express our strong support and appreciation to his Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al khalifa, His Royal Highness Crown Prince, Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka Binti Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of the King, for depicting the overwhelming vision and leadership and outstanding humanitarian endeavors for the people and Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
2.5. Fifth and last, to please join me to continue our continuous dedication and commitment to our pledge on the RUKUNEGARA:
MAKA KAMI, rakyat Malaysia, berikrar akan menumpukan seluruh tenaga dan usaha kami untuk mencapai cita-cita tersebut berdasarkan atas prinsip-prinsip yang berikut:

And also let’s hold hands of the person on your right and jointly declare that: We, Malaysians; One Heart, One Soul; Declare to Remain United; and Aim High for Malaysia’s Future; and our independent, Always Independent.
