On 17 May 2013, seven ASEAN Ambassadors/Head of Mission called on the newly appointed Secretary General of the Ministry of External Relations H.E. Ambassador Eduardo dos Santos.
The occasion presented an opportunity for the ASEAN Ambassadors to exchange views on Brazil´s outlook towards ASEAN and explore areas of cooperation. Ambassador Sudha Devi, as Chairperson of the ASEAN Committee in Brasilia (ACB), briefed the Secretary General on the work of the Committee and activities undertaken so far as part of efforts to create greater awareness on ASEAN.
