On Saturday, 23 March 2013, the Embassy of Malaysia with the support of PERWAKILAN Brasilia participated in the Global Awareness Fair (GAF) organised by the American School of Brasilia (EAB). The Malaysian stall prepared several Malaysian dishes such as Beehoon Goreng, Karipap, Popiah, Dadih, Jeli Kelapa and Teh Tarik for guests to sample. In addition, the Malaysian stall offered Malaysia handicraft such as Kain Batik, Beg Mengkuang, Sabah Pearls and Kaftan for sale.
The Embassy organised a colouring and drawing competition for the students of the school. The event attracted more than 40 participants. The winners of the competition received a hamper full of products and handicraft from Malaysia.
