The Embassy of Malaysia in Brasilia hosted the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) Networking Luncheon to exchange information and explore opportunities for future cooperation between Malaysia, Brazil, and Guyana on technical and capacity-building programmes. The Chargé d’Affaires a.i. expressed her appreciation to the MTCP partners, the Brazilian Cooperation Agency and Embassy of Guyana in Brasilia, as well the MTCP Alumni for their contribution and feedback.
The MTCP was founded by the Malaysian Government in 1980 in line with the country's commitment to South-South Cooperation. The programme demonstrates the Malaysian Government's commitment towards the promotion of technical cooperation among developing nations by providing assistance in areas where Malaysia has knowledge and expertise.
