On 29 August 2017 the ASEAN Committee in Brasilia (ACB) held a reception to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of ASEAN Day at the Thai Residence, with attendance of His Excellency Mr. Marcos Bezerra Abott Galvão, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, as the guest of honour, as well as the diplomatic corps of ASEAN Member Countries and ASEAN dialogue partners, and representatives of Brazilian Government agencies.
