13th to 15th October 2007 – A three-member delegation headed by Mr Dan E.Khoo, CEO of WCIT 2008 Sdn Bhd conducted a working visit to Brasilia to lobby for Brazil’s participation in the WCIT 2008. During the visit, the delegation met with officials from Export and Investment Promotion Agency (APEX-Brasil), Ministry of Science and Technology of Brazil and an IT Association.
23rd to 25th October 2007 – Y.Bhg Dato’ Zakaria Bahari, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Transport of Malaysia visited Brasilia to discuss issues pertaining to International Maritime Organisation (IMO) including the election of the IMO Council for 2008-2009 period which is scheduled to take place during the 25
th Session of the IMO Assembly in November 2007 in London. During the visit KSU MOT met with officials from the Ministry of External Relations of Brazil and the Brazilian Navy.
