We welcome you to the website of the Embassy of Malaysia in Switzerland. The Embassy or in Malay ‘Kedutaan Besar’ in Bern has the responsibility to continue to enhance the existing excellent bilateral relations between Malaysia and Switzerland. Malaysia’s current Transformation Programme, in particular, its Economic Transformation, can benefit greatly from Switzerland’s experiences and expertise through enhanced cooperation in trade, economy, tourism and not forgetting Switzerland’s global leadership role in innovation, research and technology.
The Embassy of Malaysia is certainly committed to work closely with the Swiss authorities and interested parties from both Switzerland and Malaysia in developing further the above-mentioned areas of cooperation. The Consular Section of the Embassy provides services required by Malaysians as well as Swiss nationals and other nationals residing in Switzerland who need visas to travel to Malaysia.
The Embassy also has the task to maintain close ties with all Malaysians residing and working in Switzerland. Our fellow Malaysians and also ‘Friends of Malaysia’ are encouraged to work closely with the Embassy to promote Malaysia’s uniqueness such as its peace-loving multi-cultural society. We could also work together on cultural and commercial exchanges between the two countries. The Malaysians are in fact our ambassadors for Malaysia and we encourage them to help enhance the excellent ties that exist between Malaysia and Switzerland.
