H.E. Dato' Ho May Yong, Ambassador of Malaysia to Switzerland hosted a Buffet Lunch at her Residence on Saturday, 12 February 2011 to celebrate Chinese New Year. About 100 Malaysian and Swiss guests attended the event. Malaysia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva, the Honorary Consuls of Malaysia in Basel and Zurich and officers of the Permanent Missions to the UN and WTO, and their families also joined in the celebration.
The warm and sunny weather on that day made the event more enjoyable as guests mingled and helped themselves to the festive spread of steamed rice with sauteed beef and peppers in black bean sauce, spicy sweet and sour chicken, prawns in special garlic sauce, stir fried asparagus with shrimp paste, mixed vegetables, fried kway teow and an array of desserts, cookies and mandarin oranges.
