H.E Dato’ Ho May Yong, Ambassador of Malaysia to Switzerland hosted a lunch on Saturday, 11 February 2012 at Rumah Malaysia to celebrate Chinese New Year. The lunch was well-attended by Malaysians who are working, studying or residing in Switzerland. The guests also included Malaysia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva, Ambassador of Malaysia to the WTO, officers and staff of the Permanent Missions to the UN and WTO, and their families.
There was a festive mood at the lunch with Chinese New Year decorations and music as well as the array of Malaysian food and delicacies, which reminded them very much of the celebrations back home. It was good to see the camaraderie among fellow Malaysians and the occasion also provided an opportunity for them to make new friends and meet with the staff of the Embassy.
