H.E Dato’ Mohd Zulkephli Mohd Noor presented his credentials of his appointment as the Ambassador of Malaysia to Liechtenstein, with residence in Bern, to His Royal Highness Prince Alois, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein on 26 June 2014 at the Vaduz Castle, Liechtenstein.
After presenting the credentials, the Ambassador and the Hereditary Prince had a short discussion on the state of bilateral relations as well as the economic situation of the two countries as well as some regional issues. The Ambassador also took the opportunity to express Malaysia’s commitment to further strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries which was also shared by the Hereditary Prince.
Prior to that, the Ambassador had a short discussion with H.E Dr. Aurelia Frick, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Education and Culture of Liechtenstein during which an array of issues were discussed. Among others, they discussed on some bilateral issues between the two countries, namely the on-going Malaysia-EFTA Free Trade Agreement negotiations, candidatures to international organizations and the proposed signing of the Double Taxation Agreement.
