The Embassy of Malaysia in Berne proudly welcomed YB Datuk Gerawat Gala, Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier's Department (Labour, Immigration, and Project Monitoring), for a study visit to Switzerland from 22 to 29 October 2024.
This visit aimed to deepen insights into Switzerland’s advanced technology implementation for foreign worker management, border security, and risk mitigation. It also focused on understanding Switzerland’s policies and governance practices in the management of migrant workers.
The exchange of knowledge and experiences during this visit will play a vital role in shaping innovative solutions and improving governance strategies in Sarawak and Malaysia as a whole.
