On 16 June 2014, H.E Dato’ Mohd Zulkephli Mohd Noor, Ambassador-designate of Malaysia to Liechtenstein attended the Information Event 2014 for Heads of Mission accredited to Liechtenstein organized by the Liechtenstein Government in Schaan. Such an event is held annually to update the Heads of Mission on the latest developments in Liechtenstein, mainly on its government policies as well as the political and economic situation of the country.
For this year, the event took place at one of Liechtenstein’s major international companies, Neutrik AG which manufactures connectors for the entertainment industry, as a testimony to the importance of manufacturing industry to the economy of Liechtenstein. During the event, H.E Adrian Hasler, Prime Minister who is also the Minister of General Government Affairs and Finance; H.E Thomas Zwiefelhofer, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs, Justice and Economic Affairs; as well as H.E Dr. Aurelia Frick, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Education and Culture delivered speeches on various aspects of Liechtenstein’s economy as the theme of this year’s Information Event.
It was followed by the opening of a film festival by H.E Dr. Aurelia Frick with the theme of women and armed conflict as part of its usual cultural promotion efforts.
