Y.Bhg Tan Sri Dr. Mohd Yusof Noor, Chairman of the Council of University Islam Malaysia (UIM) and a two-member delegation made a working visit to Switzerland from 22-24 May 2013. The purpose of the visit was to hold discussions with the University of Zurich with a view to identifying professors from the University of Zurich to be appointed as visiting professors to UIM. The visit was also to obtain information on fields of study which UIM intends to introduce in its curriculum.
The delegation also visited other relevant institutions such as the Swiss National Museum to gather information which would be useful in the establishment and development of UIM.
Ambassador Dato’ Ho May Yong hosted a dinner in honour of YBhg. Tan Sri Dr. Mohd Yusof Noor and his delegation at the Official Residence.
