52ND NATIONAL DAY OF MALAYSIA AND HARI RAYA AIDIL FITRI 2009 OPEN HOUSE, CONSULATE GENERAL OF MALAYSIA, FRANKFURT, 26 SEPTEMBER 2009

The Consul General of Malaysia in Frankfurt and Madam Khadijah Mahmud hosted a Tea Party on the occasion of the 52nd National Day of Malaysia and Hari Raya Aidil Fitri Open House for Malaysians, Friends of Malaysia and their family members, living in Hessen, North Rhine Westphalia and Thuringia, at the Official Residence on Saturday, 26 September 2009.  The Tea Party, held between 3.00 p.m. – 7.00 p.m. saw the attendance of approximately 250 invitees.  Among the invitees were Malaysian students studying in and around Frankfurt, Bingen, Aachen, Heidelberg, Essen, Bocholt/Gelsenkirchen, Mannheim, Wiesbaden, Aalen, Wiengarten, Ulm, Karlsruhe and Koblenz.  Traditional Malaysian delicacies, including Nasi Tomato, Ayam Masak Merah, Acar Rampai, Dalca, Nasi Impit, Kuah Kacang, Lemang, Redang Daging, Karipap, Kuih Seri Muka and Agar-Agar were prepared by the PERWAKILAN of the Consulate General and other Malaysian ladies in Frankfurt, under the guidance of Chef Ismail Ahmad of Rebung Restaurant, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.
