COURTESY CALL BY OFFICIALS OF THE FRANKFURT CHAMBER OF LAWYERS, 9 April 2009

Dr. Rudolf Lauda, the Managing Director of the Frankfurt Chamber of Lawyers, and Mr. Dietmar Friesch, the Head of Events, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Saiful Azam Abdullah, Consul General, at the Chancery on April 9, 2009.

The Chamber, equivalent to the State Bar in Malaysia, has 17,000 members spread around the Rhein-Main region. The Consul General and Dr. Lauda exchanged views on matters of common interest and explored ways and means to further cooperate in mutually beneficial areas. There are 139,000 licensed lawyers in Germany that are affiliated to the 28 Chambers of Lawyers (State Bars) in the whole country.
