COURTESY CALL BY THE DEPUTY PRESIDENT OF UNIVERSITI KUALA LUMPUR, 2 April 2009

The Deputy President of UniKL, Prof. Dr. Azemi Mohd Noor, called on the Consul General of Malaysia in Frankfurt, Mr. Saiful Azam Abdullah, at the Chancery on 2 April 2009. Prof. Dr. Azemi was accompanied by Associate Professor Dr. Rusli Othman, the Dean of the Malaysia Spanish Institute, UniKL, and Mr. Jaronie Mohd Jani from the Institute of Product Design and Manufacturing, UniKL. The UniKL delegation was in Germany to conduct interviews with potential academic staff of UniKL from among the Malaysian Government sponsored students currently in their final year of studies. The Consul General and the Deputy President of UniKL exchanged views on matters related to the welfare and performance of the Malaysian students currently studying in Germany. As of 31 March 2009, there are 744 Malaysian students currently pursuing their undergraduate and post-graduate studies in 71 local universities in Germany.
