The Consul General had the honour to officiate the Malaysia Pavilion at the Franchise Expo Germany 2025, held on 6 November 2025 at Messe Frankfurt.
Led by Perbadanan Nasional Berhad (PERNAS) and SME Corp. Malaysia, the Malaysia Pavilion showcased eight renowned Malaysian franchisors representing diverse sectors — from food and beverage (Jibbynco Sdn. Bhd., Mokky Food Services (M) Sdn. Bhd., Chef Kecik Sdn. Bhd., and Coolblog Dessert Sdn. Bhd.), retail and fashion (Hegira Sdn. Bhd.) to health & wellness (Tanamera Tropical Spa Sdn. Bhd., Wellnesspreneur Group Sdn. Bhd.) and services (City Coin Laundry Sdn. Bhd.).
The participating brands are among Malaysia’s most well-known franchises, reflecting the nation’s strong and vibrant franchise industry as it explores opportunities in the European market.
According to Mr. Hendrik Martschinke, President of the German Franchise Association, Malaysia was the first country pavilion from the Southeast Asian region represented at the FEX.
